We are happy to announce about version 1.0 of masalla icon theme after many versions where version 0.9 was the last one.
This version is the first stable version of masalla.
The name of project is inspired from Obelisk name in arabic language (like Obelisk of Hammurabi in History of Iraq) .
This project is part from URUK project was developed by hayder majid to become the default icon theme for URUK GNU/Linux , all icons are licenses under GPL 3.+
Change log :
- Convert all icons (almost) to .svg format
- ٍAdd new color theme (yellow, red, violet, brown, black, grey, green) with dark and light colors
- Add some app icons like (xiphos, pithos,evernote, ....)
- Add install and uninstall scripts
- Gnome 3.1+ and 3.2+ compatibility
To install masalla icons, all you need to do is running the "INSTALL" file after extracting the tar file and follow the steps to make it available to local user only, or run the script as root to make it available to all users, and if you want to uninstall it , just run the "UNINSTALL" script with same way.
